Ashington

This scheme for 7 detached houses and 10 apartments was carried out by a volume house builder in a rural part of East Sussex during the late 1990s. We were asked to design a high density site layout with a particular mix of accommodation in mind. Many aspects of this scheme required careful thought and these included the potential loss of privacy to adjoining owners, the need to retain protected trees on the site and dealing with surface water on heavy clay where no natural water courses existed.
