St George’s, Hanover Square
Restoring a Grade I Listed Georgian Church

The Parish Church of St. George, Hanover Square (Grade 1 listed) was designed by John James and completed in 1725. An extensive programme of repair and restoration was undertaken from 2009, including structural work to the fine original roof, decorative plasterwork, and overhaul of all services. The new lighting scheme, sound system, heating, and alarms have been designed and installed as discreetly as possible to maintain the integrity of the design while increasing the comfort and utility of the church.<br>
