Successful cost control begins with the production of fully designed and detailed working drawings. The drafting of full and complete schedules and specifications is also necessary.
Most project details must be settled at this stage, but the rewards are great. Building contracts which are well defined afford good control over cost and quality.
During the ‘working drawings’ stage the architect works with other consultants to produce full documentation needed to tender the work. Coordination of other professionals falls to the architect. This is a role in which we excel.
