St John’s Church, Hyde Park
Restoring a Grade II
Listed Church

This church of the 1830’s by Fowler (modified by Blomfield) was in a state of near dereliction. Substantial works of repair have been carried out to window tracery and roofs, relaying drains, and repairing and reglazing the large west window. The interior has been redecorated (soft and bound distemper were used) and a reordering recently completed with new underfloor heating throughout beneath a new Purbeck stone floor.
